I had an auto accident in February 2015, not my fault, and since then my rates have been going through the roof. As I was shopping around for another insurance company I was told by several that nationwide Red flag to me as high risk and had me down as I was at fault for accident.

Agent at Dave Karolak Agency, Renée was very rude and very unpleasant to deal with. Recently switched all of my six policies to another insurance company.

I had the very same problem when I started with Nationwide my rate was $134 then went up to $168 I had an accident was not my fault, my rate went up to over $180 and then to renew the rate was $222 way too much.

Now my new insurance rate with AMICA $141

Big insurance companies like Nationwide are expensive and worthless they don't care they just want your money


I believe that an even non-a-fault accident can change your rating, it may even be more so with a prior accident in the last three years. If you have a bad agent, then write the company directly.
